Description:
Let each child pick a giant piece to carry around (you can call on them by name, one at a time, to select one, or you can assign them to a piece). Remind them that the pieces should always be carried below the chin and not to swing them around.
Line the children up and then march around the room, weaving and making patterns with the line. You can also make up a chant if you feel like getting creative!
Take turns being leader, or if there’s lots of space, let the children run around silly.
Description for Parents
The children picked a giant piece to carry, parading, marching and weaving around the room. They had fun turns being the leader.
